Privacy Policy

This policy covers the private, internal video-production application operated by Rainey Studios ("the app"), used exclusively by our own team to manage our own YouTube channels. The app is not offered to the public.

Google user data we access

With your explicit consent through Google's sign-in flow, the app accesses the following data for YouTube channels you own or manage, via the official YouTube Data and YouTube Analytics APIs:

• Channel and video information (read-only): video titles, descriptions, statistics, and channel metadata, used to display your channel's performance inside the app.
• YouTube Analytics (read-only): views, watch time, subscriber changes, and — if enabled — revenue metrics, used for internal performance dashboards and reports.
• Video upload: the ability to upload videos our team produced to your channel, only when a team member explicitly initiates an upload.

How we use this data

Data is used solely to operate our own production workflow: showing analytics dashboards to authorized team members, generating internal performance reports, and publishing videos our team created to our own channels. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Limited Use disclosure

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our internal tool's features, do not use it for serving advertisements, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Google's own handling of information it receives is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Storage and security

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and stored in the app's private database. Analytics data retrieved from Google APIs is cached for display; raw API responses are automatically deleted or refreshed within 30 days. The app runs on access-controlled infrastructure and is reachable only by authenticated team members.

Sharing

We do not share Google user data with third parties. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf solely to run the application.

Retention and deletion

You can disconnect a Google account at any time inside the app, which deletes its stored tokens, or revoke the app's access from your Google account permissions page. To request deletion of any cached data, email josh@rainey.gg and we will remove it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
